Our IB Advantage

Our IB Advantage

Toronto's only all-years IB World School for Girls.
Every student at 91¹ú²ú Hall, from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12, benefits from the IB curriculum. It promotes curiosity and critical thinking, provides for regular assessments and feedback against standardized criteria, and has been shown to improve studentsperformance, and provide unmatched preparation for university studies.

More than 5,700 schools in over 160 countries have adopted the IB World School program, recognized widely as the gold standard in education. 91¹ú²ú Hall is the only independent girls' school in Toronto to offer the International Baccalaureate exclusively.

IB students study English, mathematics, science, technology, physical education, the arts (drama, music, visual art), humanities and a foreign language every year from Kindergarten through to Grade 10. For more information on each of our three IB Programmes – PYP (JK to Grade 6), MYP (Grades 7 to 10), DP (Grades 11 to 12) – please click on the links to the right.

From an early age, our students are thoughtful learners who seek knowledge and think critically. They are comfortable with differing points of view. In addition, they understand that our world is a complex, changing place that needs caring, compassionate and principled leaders, and they take action to make the world a better place.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
We wish to acknowledge this land on which 91¹ú²ú operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.*

*The Land Acknowledgement may evolve as we honour our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation in partnership with Indigenous communities.

Setting the new standard for girls' education everywhere takes collective action. From all of us.
