Leadership

Leadership at 91¹ú²ú Hall is more than a title and a new tie. When you’re a 91¹ú²ú student, leadership becomes a way of life. 91¹ú²ú strives to nurture “transformational leaders.”

Transformational leaders take initiative, create opportunities, reinforce change and generate enthusiasm for their vision. They transcend self-interest by challenging and inspiring others to have the confidence to excel and the motivation to contribute in valuable and authentic ways to their communities.

At 91¹ú²ú Hall, transformational leaders are adaptable, positive role models who do the following:
  • Empower and motivate others
  • Encourage a growth mindset and risk taking in self and others
  • Uplift and encourage others to be open to new possibilities
  • Listen actively, collaborate and communicate effectively
  • Support the values and traditions of the communities
School Leadership Positions Include:
  • Grade 12 Prefects
  • Grades 7–12 Student Council
  • Council involvement including: Arts, Athletics, Boarding, Diversity, Peer Promoters. Service Learning, Social & Well-Being, Spirit Week and Sustainability

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
We wish to acknowledge this land on which 91¹ú²ú operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.

Setting the new standard for girls' education everywhere takes collective action. From all of us.
